our APPROACH

About Mosaic and Holly Giudice

Holly Giudice consults with families as they navigate the murky waters of college admissions.  She provides confidential one-on-one counseling in all aspects of the college application process.

She holds a B. A. in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Irvine, and the Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA.  Holly is the founder of the independent college counseling firm, Mosaic College Counseling with offices in Irvine, California and Clinton, Connecticut, and is a member of the Western Association of College Admission Counseling (WACAC) and an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).

Holly is very sensitive to the stress of the college application process on the student and family -- she recently went through the process with her own two daughters (College of the Holy Cross and University of Texas at Austin).  Her goal is to make the process less stressful and hopefully more enjoyable for your student and family.

Holly is committed to helping expand access to higher education and volunteers as a writing coach and a college coach with College Summit, an organization whose mission is to increase the college enrollment rates of youth from low-income communities.   When not consulting with students or visiting colleges across the country, Holly can be found doing yoga, reading, writing poetry, or creating mosaics!

High School Juniors and Seniors
Mosaic College Counseling can help you successfully navigate through the entire college search and application process from start to finish. Junior year is a time to really learn about yourself and assess your strengths, interests, goals, and needs.  You also need to determine what you are looking for in a college, and develop a list of potential “right fit” schools.  The college visits should now occur in earnest. In the summer after your junior and into your fall semester of senior year, Mosaic will guide you through essay development and writing and application processes.

High School Freshmen and Sophomores
It’s never too early to get started planning for the future!  Mosaic College Counseling can help you set goals and develop a plan for what you can be doing to prepare for college. What high school classes should you be taking? Which extra-curricular activities would help you?  We can help you figure it out.

High School Athletes
Interested in playing college sports?  Mosaic can develop a targeted college search and detailed campaign to help athletes connect with NCAA and NAIA colleges across the country.
